Engr. Ezekiel M. Sampson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PowerMind Innovative Solutions. With over eight years of experience in national power infrastructure, he has dedicated his career to advancing Liberia’s energy sector from within — building the expertise, relationships, and vision that gave rise to PowerMind.
In addition to founding PowerMind, Ezekiel serves as an Engineer and Supervisor for Transmission & Distribution at the Liberia Electricity Corporation, where he played a direct role in connecting over 91,000 new customers to the national grid. That work gave him an intimate understanding of both the challenges and the immense potential within Liberia’s energy landscape.
He is also the President of SEEITE — the Society of Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, and Telecommunications Engineers — bringing professional leadership to the broader engineering community in Liberia.
Vanessa Lawson brings over a decade of experience spanning military service, legal practice, compliance, and strategic business development. A U.S. Army Veteran, she has built her career across some of the most demanding professional environments — developing the discipline, strategic thinking, and cross-sector expertise that PowerMind’s growth demands.
Her background in compliance, governance, and contracts — combined with her deep experience in client relations and business development — makes her a critical force behind PowerMind’s partnerships, operations, and external relationships. Vanessa ensures that every engagement PowerMind enters is structured with professionalism, clarity, and long-term value.
